about the wall
what is the wall for?
The wall is a place where anyone can say something without a middleman deciding whether it gets seen.
You post directly. It goes up instantly, for everyone. No account, no approval, no editor choosing what the school gets to read.
is the wall really anonymous?
- ✓ No login and no account. There is nothing to log into.
- ✓ No name is collected. The nickname field is optional and made up by you.
- ✓ No email, phone number, or student ID is ever asked for.
- ✓ Posts are stored as: text + nickname + timestamp. Nothing else is kept.
- ✓ There is no profile, no post history tied to you, and nothing links one post to another.
To everyone reading the wall, you are nobody. Your words stand alone.
is it safe & secure?
- ✓ Encrypted (HTTPS). Your words travel locked — not readable by snoops on school Wi-Fi.
- ✓ No account, no login. There is no profile for anyone to break into or steal.
- ✓ We keep almost nothing: text + a made-up nickname + a time. No email, no phone, no student ID.
- ✓ Even an optional delete password is stored scrambled (hashed) — never as plain text.
- ✓ No ads, no trackers, no data selling. The wall itself never watches what you post.
- ✓ Your delete key lives only on your own device — so only you can remove what you wrote.
That is the whole point: less of you is stored, so there is less of you to lose.
what about 文言文 and 和諧 mode?
These two modes are in beta — they may work, but there may be bugs.
- ✓ They only run when you choose them (tap the 原 button until it shows 文 or 和) and only for that one post.
- ✓ Raw (原) mode touches nothing — your text is posted exactly as typed and never leaves the server.
- ✓ In 文/和 mode, your text is sent to an AI (DeepSeek) to be converted, then shown to you before you decide to post.
- ✓ The AI is told to keep all of your content — nothing is censored, removed or softened.
- ✗ Honest caveat: whatever you convert in 文/和 mode is seen by that AI service. If you want zero third parties involved, stay in 原 mode.
